“There are people who don’t feel sorry for you.” With those words, one of the friends of the victim who died during a shooting outside a Popeyes restaurant in Philadelphialamented the death of his close friend and asked for justice to find the person responsible.
And it is that according to Fransico Amaya, who works at Popeyes himself, crime in the area has caused several of his acquaintances to fear for their lives when working at night.
“We are afraid to go out at night, work at night, everything is very dangerous,” he lamented.
According to the uniform, the deadly shooting occurred around 11:17 pm, in the parking lot of the Popeyes restaurant, located between 4th and Lehigh streets, when three subjects shot three people inside a car.
The bullets hit a 19-year-old in the head multiple times, and he died moments later. For their part, a restaurant employee and a lady were also shot but remain in stable condition in the hospital.
Sources from the uniformed officer told TELEMUNDO62 that the shooting would have arisen after a love fight between those involved, although it is unknown who specifically.
The description of the suspect vehicle is unknown at this time. Police found 46 bullet casings at the scene.
