AVASA strengthens relations with its agencies and suppliers

In this sense, last June the area meetings were resumed that took the AVASA management team to Madrid, Zaragoza, Girona, A Coruña, Vigo, Valencia, Lleida, Andorra, Reus and Barcelona to meet with the representatives of their associated agencies throughout 11 meetings in the geographical areas where the AVASA group has a presence. Thus, close to 250 executives and travel agents attended the meetingswhich means a share of more than 80% of partner agencies of the group, “a great success of participation” taking into account that these summer months usually suppose a peak of work for them”.

In addition, last July the second annual meeting of the Club Business Travel by AVASA (CBTA) with the presence of more than twenty travel agencies specialized in the Business Travel and MICE sector. In this case it was “establish common strategies and implement new tools to improve the productivity and profitability of the agencies that work in this sector”, explains López Bahillo. These meetings, which are held every four months, aim to “bring together in the same space the agencies of the group specialized in Business Travel and MICE because at AVASA we understand that it is a sector that does not have the same needs and objectives as the agencies in the vacation sector. This has led us to be the first fully mixed management groupoffering solutions and meeting the needs of each other”.

Both in the area meetings and in the CBTA meeting, some of AVASA’s main suppliers have participated directly to “not only facilitate communication between AVASA and its partners, but also promote the relationship between agencies and suppliers and create a space where one and the other can communicate”.
