Bubba Wallace sealed his future with the 23XI Racing organization on Friday and is now trying to earn a berth in the NASCAR postseason for the first time in his career.
Wallace and 23XI announced a multiyear contract extension for him to remain with the No. 23 Toyota team, founded by Danny Hamlin and Michael Jordan.
The organization was built around the only black driver competing at the highest level in NASCAR and the many partners Wallace signed with in 2020 when he was a central figure during the mobilizations against racism and for social justice in the country.
