Billboard has just released its magazine in Spanish by launching the first edition with a cover starring one of the most successful Latin artists of the moment: Camilo Echeverry.
The 28-year-old Colombian singer marks a milestone in the publication’s history by being the first to appear on its cover, in an issue in which he talks about his career and personal life.
With his characteristic Dalí-style mustache and a white cloud painted around his eye, the interpreter of “Vida de Rico” poses looking at the camera on the cover of the digital publication.
“The man behind the mustache has seven No. 1s on Billboard’s Top Latin Airplay chart, and three Top 10s on the Pop Albums chart.” With these words they present the artist from Billboard.
Through his Instagram account, the young singer-songwriter expressed how happy and honored he feels to be on the cover of the first edition of Billboard en Español.
“If I could choose again, I would choose to be myself, and to be doing exactly what I am living. What a privilege! Thank you @billboardlatin and @leilacobo for an incredible interview and capturing such an important moment in my life,” Camilo commented.
