Cherry Valentine, contestant on the second season of RuPaul’s Drag RaceUK, passed away at the age of 28. The artist, whose real name was George Ward, was the second eliminated in this edition issued in 2021.

Cheryl Hole, fourth finalist of the first season, wanted to say goodbye to her too. “I never thought I would have to write something like this about such a talented and beautiful person. as was Cherry,” she said on Twitter. “We have lost an amazing queen and I am honestly devastated! Rest in peace Cherry. Love you”.
