Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, called this Wednesday the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries (NAM) to act with unity, cohesion, creativity and solidarity, in defense of collective interests.
On his Twitter account, the Cuban foreign minister stated that the NAM must continue to strengthen itself as a diverse, inclusive and representative forum in the face of attempts at hegemony intended to divide and weaken.
«At the NAM Ministerial Meeting on global post-pandemic recovery, in the #UNGA77 framework, I called for action with unity, cohesion, creativity and solidarity, in defense of our collective interests. In the face of attempts at hegemony that undermine multilateralism and seek to divide and weaken us, the NAM must continue to strengthen itself as a diverse, inclusive and representative forum. #UNGA”.
Rodríguez Parrilla heads the Cuban delegation to this meeting, the first to be held in person after the Covid-19 pandemic, in which 150 heads of state, government and foreign ministers from around the world participate. (ACN)
