Food Fair and Tecnochef present the latest technology for restaurants

Guatemala. Representatives of the Organizing Committee of the Food Fair and Tecnochef spoke of the importance for restaurants to update the equipment with which they work daily and live the experience of a technology based on innovation, design, and most importantly, equipment focused on the efficiency of the processes and taste of food.

Among the main novelties, the trend of kitchens with Josper technology was presented, which is a combination of a grill and an oven in a single piece of equipment. Its main function is to cook the raw materials directly on its grill, in this way the Josper ovens achieve the traditional flavor of charcoal in each dish. Within the equipment, processes such as smoking can be carried out, among other techniques that enhance the flavors of the ingredients.

To talk about this technology, international Chef José Antonio León Merlo recently visited Guatemala. Chef Jose Antonio is Executive Chef for Latin America and the Caribbean for Middleby Corporation, a world leader in high-performance kitchen equipment; he also offers a wide range of solutions for commercial, residential and food processing.

Chef Antonio León highlighted: “Josper is intended for a demanding profession, such as steak houses, brasseries, tapas bars, bistro cafes, traditional haute cuisine restaurants” “I recommend it for optimal results on all foods, as it provides greater speed of preparation, greatly reduces flames preventing food from drying out or burning”

Mr. Carlos Mansilla, President of the Organizing Committee highlighted: “Technology is a necessary factor for the growth of any business. For many years we have seen how visitors to the Food Fair visit the stands to find out about new products such as those presented by Tecnochef. Every restaurant and professional in this industry always needs to research, read, and train on all these new trends that are revolutionizing the market”.

This technology will be available during the Food Fair to be held from September 5 to 7 at the Hotel Tikal Futura Expocenter, attendees will be able to learn more about all the technology available in Guatemala for the food and beverage business. Likewise, there will be the Restaurant Congress, each day with different themes that are the most valuable opportunity to learn about gastronomic trends, and how the restaurant market is working.
