The Tokyo Game Show 2022 has hosted an electrifying event for gamers of capcomin which many of the famous publisher’s titles have been presented, such as ‘Street Fighter 6′. The long-awaited fighting production has revealed new characters, a ton of World Tour and Battle Hub details, as well as the upcoming closed beta test.

‘Street Fighter 6’ maintains its momentum with the announcement of four characters, the new Extreme Battle mode and the date for the next closed beta test. First, the major updates to the World Tour and the Battle Hub were announced:
Here players will be able to create their own avatars with customization options to reflect their personal style. As you progress through story mode, you’ll have the option of honing your avatars’ strength through street fights with various non-playable characters and, along the way, meeting masters like Ryu and Chun-Li who will teach you special moves from their own repertoires.
For its part, in this mode we can take the personalized avatars to the Battle Hub, which serves as an entrance area to find combats against other players from all over the world, including online tournaments. When two players sit down at one of the arcade machines located one behind the other in the Battle Hub, a fight can start, with everyone present as witnesses. You can also visit the Game Center to play Capcom retro classics like ‘Street Fighter II’ and ‘Final Fight’.

These are the new confirmed characters for the popular fighting installment:

As a legend of the Street Fighter series, Ken has a classic move set with new additions that aim to keep it fresh.
The unique adventure tour guide with a good heart and defender of nature. Blanka features his signature Electric Attack and Rolling Attack, plus the new Blanca-chan bombs and the return of his Lightning Beast move.
Yoga master Dhalsim channels his familiar fire techniques from previous installments, as well as mastering moves like Yoga Fire, Yoga Bow, Yoga Kite, and Yoga Call.
The sumo globetrotter blends the Old with the New, bringing back his signature moves like Hundred Hand Slap and Sumo Headbutt, as well as his new Sumo Dash, in which he advances with a traditional sumo mix.
As anticipated, the new Extreme Battle mode enters the Fighting Arena to offer a new way to spice up combat with unconventional parameters. These fast-paced battles are defined by new rules and tricks that will make each fight an experience that anyone can enjoy.
Finally, from October 7 to 10, 2022, a closed beta test will take place on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam with cross-play enabled. The test will include ranked matches, casual matches, battle center matches, open tournaments, extreme battles, Game Center, and training mode. Eight characters will be playable during the test: Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke, Jamie, Guile, Kimberly, Juri, and Ken.
