Taylor Swift announces her song ‘Mastermind’ and picks up another award

Taylor Swift has been in the news these days after receive the award for Composer-Artist of the Decade at the Nashville Songwriter Awards. The author of ‘folklore’ has collected her award for her career spanning from 2010 to 2019.

At the gala, Swift explained her songwriting process. He has said that he divides his lyrics into three categories, depending on whether he imagines writing his songs with a classic “pen” (‘ivy’), a “fountain pen” (‘All Too Well’) or a “gel pen” (‘ Shake it Off’). In other words, if the lyrics use old-fashioned words, or more modern but still poetic, or directly pop, she uses one writing instrument or another. In her mind, of course.

Taylor, who has already received the Billboard Artist of the Decade Award in 2019, where he took the opportunity to claim the influence of Lana Del Rey, has had the opportunity at the Nashville gala to perform live the 10-minute version of ‘All Too Well‘.

In another order of things, Taylor Swift releases a new album on October 21, ‘Midnights’, and has begun to reel off its content on TikTok. This “midnight”, Taylor has announced a series called ‘Midnights Mayhem With Me’ through which she will reveal the titles of the songs included in her new album. The first of them belongs to track 13, a key number in Taylor’s numerology, and which receives the title of ‘Mastermind’. It will be the closing track.

‘Midnights’, Swift’s tenth album, will tell the story of “13 sleepless nights” that have led the artist to create a night concept album. Jack Antonoff is once again involved in the project, as he has been in other Taylor projects.
