WhatsApp first announced in July the ability to upload voice memos to status updates, but recently, WABetaInfo notes that the application works in the voice states.
Users will be able to use the voice recordings to upload them to the statuses and there will be no need to share photos or other multimedia content. In a nutshell, what the interested parties record will become status.
said messages will play automatically when opening them, in addition, the maximum length will be 30 seconds.
Regarding the interface, it will be the same as before, however, the only novelty is the inclusion of a voice recording button which will be added to the existing options of sharing states with photos, videos or texts.
As you can see in the image below, the interface design is quite simple.
WABetaInfo states that “when you want to post a voice status update, you can also you can choose a background color for the voice note and is displayed as a message bubble.”
At the moment, this novelty is only available in the beta version of WhatsAppbut WABetaInfo adds that it “will be released in a future app update.”
